It is often suggested that the home front must step in to support children’s language skills. Despite the various philosophies and opinions surrounding parenting, the reality remains that not every home environment is stable and secure. Current economic conditions further complicate matters, as not all parents have the time to actively contribute to their children's language development. We often find ourselves stuck in problem-oriented thinking; we have heard all the reasons, yet when will we take concrete action with a solution-focused approach?

Children are the future of our society, and this issue affects us all. It is easy to point fingers at the obvious parties responsible: parents and schools. However, once these children grow up, they will be (in)directly part of our lives. This is a collective responsibility we must share as a society. By working together and investing in initiatives, we can create an environment where every child has the opportunity to develop their language knowledge and skills.
